Getting to know the people behind the emails
It is possible to work on the same project and hardly ever meet in person. Colleagues exchange messages, share documents and solve problems remotely. But getting to know the people you work with is different. That is why Reschem Industries organised a day for colleagues from across the Group, away from their usual commitments.
The aim was not simply to spend a few hours together. It was to create room for discussion, listen to different points of view and strengthen relationships that continue in everyday work.
From classroom sessions to team activities
The day included training and discussion sessions, followed by team activities. They were different kinds of experiences, but both required people to communicate, involve others and find ways of working together.
These situations can reveal habits that often go unnoticed: who speaks first, who prefers to observe before taking action and who tries to bring the group together. Recognising those differences can make it easier to understand one another when everyone returns to supplies, customers, projects and deadlines.
Five companies, people with different experiences
Reschem Italia, Vicris, Docet, Qores and Kchem each have their own activities and areas of expertise. Spending a day together does not erase those differences, but it helps colleagues understand them. That is part of the purpose of the initiative: putting faces to names and making it easier to ask for advice or begin working together.
Thank you to everyone who took part. What remains after a team-building day is not just the memory of the activities, but the familiarity built between colleagues.
